My wife and I bought the hotel four years ago after a road trip through this beautiful state. My first thought after spending a week up in the Sawtooth Wilderness was “Where is everyone”? This state is a true Gem and we hope to share some of it while hosting you. We enjoy meeting all our guests and providing location advice to those that are new to town.We are raising three kids and we try to incorporate the family into the business as much as we can. Our oldest son owns the vending machine in the laundry room. I originally purchased the machine and financed it for him. After paying off his debts to dad he now owns the machine and saves any profits for a future car.All three kids play competitive hockey and travel as far as Canada to compete. We have a small farm where we raise pack goats. In the summer we enjoy taking our friends and family backpacking without having to carry a backpack! We’re Constantly looking for ideas to improve the property and better market ourselves. If you have any ideas or suggestions please feel free to chat with me- click here for a quick chat.
Were here because we love Idaho, we hope by the time you leave you love it as much as we do.
Deana is the real hero as she helps decorate the rooms. Upon purchasing the property we had the monumental task of updating the furnishings in 57 rooms. We’re not the Hilton so we don’t get corporate discounts. Instead each room is decorated one by one. Deana home schools all three of our kids, homeschooling allows us to travel and spend time with our kids before they go off on their own journey.
I oversee the daily operation at the Hotel. In addition to working at the hotel, I take care of our farm at home which includes 35 chickens, two cows, and 6 goats. I also volunteer coaching multiple hockey teams for my kids.
